Straight Gouges By Two Cherries

We have listed these double-hooped, fine quality, hand forged gouges in both the specialist chisel department and our carving department because their appeal to both cabinetmakers and art carvers. We carry two types: Out-cannel, which, like most carving tools, are ground with the cutting edge on the inner edge of the tool (the uppermost gouge in the illustration), and in-cannel, which are ground with the cutting edge on the outer edge of the tool (the lower gouge in the illustration). Overall lengths of approximately ten to eleven inches. Made in Germany.
