Inlay Kit For Routers By Whiteside

The Whiteside inlay kit makes perfect inlay easy, with a simple set up that cuts both the inlay and recess without the need for multiple templates. The guide ring and spacer provide the exact offset for perfectly fit decorative or repair inlay.

To use the inlay kit first cut a pattern in 1/4″ thick material. Next – install the template guide ring using the centering pin to ensure the spindle is aligned, before installing the router bit. Remove the round brass spacer from the guide ring (if it isn’t already) and using the template, trace out your inlay. Replace the spacer on the guide ring (it has an o-ring inside to keep it snug) and trace the negative recess for the inlay.

Kit includes a 1/8” solid carbide spiral router bit (part# RD1600) template guide ring and spacer, a centering pin to insure exact alignment with the spindle, and instructions.

Fits router base plates and adapters with a standard 1 3/16″ diameter recessed hole for template guides.
