Some tasks and projects great a lot of dust, giving your vacs’ filters and bags a real workout. The CT Cyclone was created to separate out larger dust and debris – before they hit the filters. You’ll get more life out of your filters and bags with this one-time investment, saving you time and money over the life of your vac. You’ll also lessen the demands on the vac, preserving its high-suction performance and efficiency.
Here’s how it works: the stuff that is sucked in by the vac is swirled into a spiral movement in the cyclone, causing the dust particles to hit against the wall of the cyclone, and then (due to gravity) to fall into the clear collection container.
The Cyclone’s has a compact and sturdy construction, with a clear bucket enables you to see exactly what junk is getting trapped. The tool-free design lets you work flexibly – use the Cyclone or not, as you wish. It also fits securely within the Festool Systainer modular storage system.
Note: The Cyclone is compatible with the CT 26, CT 36, CT 48 and their accessories – boom arm, CT handle and WCR work center. It cannot be used with the CT Sys, Mini or Midi vacs. If you have a Sleeved Hose, you will need an accessory to extend the location of the Plug-It power cord.
The Cyclone is in full compliance with OSHA’s Table 1 Rule for Silica Dust when used with a HEPA-certified CT dust extractor.
