Environmentally Friendly Wood Finishing With Eddie O’Donnell

Yes, it’s possible to get durable, high quality finishes without endangering yourself or the planet!

Learn more about alternatives to solvent-based finishes — finishes made of plant oils and waxes, insect secretions, earth and mineral pigments, and other natural materials.

Eddie O’Donnell will show you how to achieve the look you want using environmentally friendly products and techniques in this workshop.

You’ll have the opportunity to experiment with different finishing products and also learn about the components of different finishes (both toxic and environmentally safe kinds). The class will also review Safety Data Sheets and other information about finishing products.

Cost: $25. All students receive a $10 gift certificate that may be used for any product Tools for Working Wood sells.

Students will need to sign liability waivers and wear protective eyewear. Gloves will be provided.

Cancellation policy: You may cancel registration up to 36 hours prior to the class for a full refund. Cancellations made with less than 36 hours advance notice and no-shows to the class will not get a refund but will get issued the $10 gift certificate.
