DMT DuoBase Bench Stone Holder

The DuoBase Bench Stone holder grips sharpening stones for maximum ease of sharpening The holder eliminates sliding or rocking on the work surface while sharpening, while giving clearance for knuckles, and adding a sturdy handle for sharpening large tools.

The regular DMT DuoBase holds all DMT 10″ and 8″ DuoSharp and DuoSharp Plus bench stones, and has a recess that will fit (but not clip) 2″ x 6″ Diamond Whetstones. To place a stone on the base, just snap the tabbed stops over the ends of the stone. The base can be used on a work surface, or held with the built in handle to bring the stone to the work-piece for sharpening large or heavy tools like drawknives or axes.

The DMT DuoBase with MagnaBase Adaptor can be used with a much wider range of sizes — all of the DiaSharp stones, including 8”, 10”, 11.5” and 12; all DuoSharp stones; and any of the 2” x 6″ Diamond Whetstones. The MagnaBase Adapter makes it easy to change stones for convenient, secure sharpening.

Both styles provide 2” knuckle clearance and a convenient handle on the underside for moving the stone over a large workpiece.
