Chamfer Shave

Originally based on a Preston design it is good to see an iron chamfer plane back in production. With this tool you can easily plane a wide range of chamfers. You set the blades and the two fences to the required width of the chamfer and then plane the wood until the shave stops cutting. You end up with a perfect, symmetric chamfer. Great for wide chamfers, chamfers on small hard to clamp and allow room for a router projects, and quick things that just need a small broken edge. Made in Germany by Kunz.
